01 - Place frozen bananas, milk, unsweetened cocoa powder, creamy peanut butter, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and salt in a blender.
02 - Blend mixture on high speed until completely smooth and creamy in texture.
03 - Sample the blended mixture and adjust the sweetness by adding more maple syrup or honey as desired.
04 - Pour smoothie evenly into two glasses.
05 - Top each glass with optional whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or crushed peanuts. Serve immediately.
