08 - 1/2 cup finely diced fresh strawberries
09 - 2 tbsp strawberry jam

10 - 24 milk chocolate kisses, unwrapped

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
03 - Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
05 - Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
06 - Gently fold in the diced strawberries and strawberry jam until evenly distributed.
07 - Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
08 - Bake for 11–13 minutes, or until the edges are just starting to turn golden.
09 - Remove from the oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
10 - Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
